MAJOR AUCTION ITEMS FOR 2008:

TUCHODI RIVER RIVERBOAT ELK/MOOSE HUNT

For the twelfth year in a row, Riverjet Adventures (www.riverjetadventures.com) has come forward with a large donation to the Wild Sheep Society of BC. This year, the new owner has donated an elk/moose hunt in the Muskwa Kechika. Those of you who want to see untouched country full of elk and moose need only to show up at the March 14 -15 AGM in Kamloops for your chance to bid on this once in a lifetime hunt.

ANTELOPE HUNT IN SOUTHERN ALBERTA

Billy Franklin of Silver Sage Outfitters (www.albertahunt.com/silversage) has again donated an antelope hunt for our 2008 AGM. Billy's outfit specializes in harvesting trophy class antelope. By trophy class we don't mean 14" run of the mill representatives of the species. Silver Sage Outfitters sets a minimum goal of 75" Boone and Crockett, which means the antelope buck you take with them will compare favorably with antelope anywhere in North America. See you at the AGM March 14-15 for your chance at this exciting hunt.

Gana River Outfitters

DALL'S SHEEP HUNT IN NORTHWEST TERRITORIES

Gana River Outfitters (www.ganariver.com) provides horseback and backpack hunts in the Mackenzie Mountains of Canada's Northwest Territories. They hunt for Dall's rams, Mountain Caribou and huge Alaska Yukon Moose. One of the last undeveloped wilderness areas in North America, resident hunting pressure is virtually nil, and game populations are strong due to their modest harvest regime. Their exclusive area is 6000 square miles of pristine Canadian wild country.
Browse the photos on their website and you'll see why Gana River's reputation for quality hunts is known wherever the talk turns to mountain hunting in the north. Tentative dates at this time are Aug 6
