The Wild Sheep Society of BC is encouraging its membership to write to the The Honorable John Baird, Minister of Environment, to speak against the creation of a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan, South Similkameen Valleys.
The WSSoBC strongly feels that the creation of such a park is not in the best interest of the Wild Sheep and will in fact be a deterrence in future efforts to aid the sheep in habitat creation, transplants and collecting scientific data on the herds.
